Anyone with tricare know if they give you a breast pump? And if so, which one?

I mentioned it to the doctor and because they were a little busy that day he mailed me my prescription so I got it 2 days later with instructions on where to pick it up from

@tinkerbe11, when did you get yours? And did your doc mention it or did you mention it?

I have tricare standard and I got this one I had to get my doctor to prescribe it and pick it up

Prime is the same as standard when it comes to breast pumps

and im saying insurances are required to give breast pumps now 😒 @stashinavy thanks for assuming.

I have tricare standard not prime n that's how I did it. I'm not sure how prime works

All u need to do is go online to whatever breast pump supplier. A popular one is edgepark I think it's called. Go to their website n order they will ask for ur insurance n details n you'll get it like the next day or a couple days after @mommajerbear

@mommajerbear, I got the Madela with them. U can get whatever pump u want

I got mine with tricare

i think insurances are required now since 2012. idk i could be wrong.

They didn't when I had it. Maybe 3 years ago. You can call and check though
