When family members think they're coming to the hospital for the whole labor & keep reminding you to call when you go into labor BUT you know you're not calling. There's no reason for everyone to be there the whole time....for what

My family wanted to show up as soon as I said I was in the hospital. I told them (because they live an hour away) when I started pushing. They were still waiting for 2-3 hours.

@nykky779, My parents, my bf, and my sister will be the only ones notified immediately. Everyone else can really wait til after i have the baby. I would say until we get home, but i'm trying to compromise.

We just did family at the hospital. I had a c section so I was there for 4 days. After the second day of just family I was tired of people in general, lol

Right! Lol honey only person that's gonna see the niddy gritty is my husband everyone will get a call afterwards and if you're mad F you too stay mad that goes for everybody

@aztec.mom, right like i understand SO and in laws but his dad isnt really around much & his mom passed recently so itll just be us and my parents. @mommyagain exactly ! like.. yall aren't gonna be in the room, ig they just wanna sit around and wait in a waiting room...idk, but that's pointless

@angylynn22, It's mostly my mom talking about that she's going to be the first one up there stuff and we're not even that close 1 for 2 she'll send my anxiety levels through the roof constantly talking telling me and the nurses what to do but I let her talk little do she know baby will already be born when she's called sorry not sorry

My whole family was like that. I literally wanted just my boyfriend and my 2nd mom (legal guardian) in the room. But I literally had my grandma, my aunt, my boyfriend, my 2nd mom, and I did not want my real mom in the room ( she k ew that too) and in the middle of pushing she barged into the room even though the nurses told her she had to leave. I was so mad no one would get out. I wanted it to be a personal thing, and instead everyone was there, and it ruined everything for me. So don't let anyone run all over you! I didn't even want people visiting me honestly, you are so exhausted and just want to relax with your baby, and I literally had 10 + people visited me at a time, drove me nuts
