how early is it to shop for baby clothes ? && know your gender .because they comments is insane.
I was under the impression that things like Chronic Villa Sampling and Amneocentisis were invasive testings, which again, I was not recommended to have. Obviously, because of the procedures involved, everyone is not going to have this. Which is why I referred only to ultrasounds. But it is a good idea to get tested anyway, just in case.
I found out at 12 weeks what I was having, and I held off buying until I knew because I didn't want to buy gender neutral stuff. I wanted a girl so bad and to buy frilly girly things lol so when I found out it was a girl I went crazy going shopping for like clothes and I bought a crib and dresser/changing table. But I held off on buying baby essentials until after my shower to save myself money. But there is no rule as to when is too early, it's a personal choice.
Lmaoo I mean I waited until I started popping out at least and even then I mostly just stocked up on diapers and wipes and stuff that I knew I was gonna run out of. But pregnant women will do what they do lol long as they get what they need it's all good. I'm not gonna hate on em. @itsaboy114
Okay. but aren't chromosomal testings done when there's diseases that run in your family? I was referring to a regular ultrasound that I had, because I did not have any abnormalities or complications, my baby is very healthy. Like I said, I'm not arguing. Thank you for "educating" me, though.
I'm a labor professional. I'm an educated woman and mother of 3. I'm very well informed.any people are able to have the gender determined when they do chromosomal testing if the baby is at risk for certain abnormalities or complications. I also said the comment was uneducated, not that you were. Apparently you're under informed on the particular subject and that's OK. Nobody is arguing. My goal is to empower women. Educate and help women navigate their pregnancies and labors. So if me giving you information is arguing then....
^^^ agreed with @arivera64 on this. Tonnnnnns of momma's find out gender via blood tests now. And they definitely are more exact than reading an ultrasound. It's either XX or XY lol
@arivera64, uneducated? no you sound more like that .you can ask anybody they are not suppose to tell you that early .listen sis I'm not about to argue with you back and forth ON MY POST .
like I said yall have yall opinions and I have mines so leave it as that lmaoooooo
@arivera64, my opinion 11 weeks to early I can ask questions if I want ain't nobody checking me .
this girl said she had her at 11 weeks that's too early ,they can give you false information they not suppose to tell you til 16-20 weeks feel me
I waited because I was scared people was going to buy the same thing .I had my baby shower and I got two emof everything. pack n plays,2 swings alot of diapers and etc
exactly @babyrossmommy it's nothing wrong with buying but do it in moderation if you having a shower now if you not I get it buy w.e you want feel me .
so you saying 6 weeks is never to early ? lol but you right everybody has they opinions girl @ashleywilkerson
@itsaboy114, I wasn't having a shower at first so I stated buying things on my own and making plans for the bigger things, so they came out and told me slow down, the shower was supposed to be a surprise
I found out gender at 13 weeks and started buying then. I didn't get any big items at my shower so it's a good thing I didn't wait until then to buy the expensive stuff.
@itsaboy114, u gotta hit "@" and my name or I don't know you respond.. you crack me up
I bought a few gender neutral outfits before I found out and then the day I found out I was having a boy I went on a shopping spree lol it's never to early to start buying anything for a new baby! The sooner you have it the less you have to worry about getting later on 💁🏼
I think you shouldn't do major shopping until you have the baby shower so people won't buy the same thing
There are tests such as materniti21, harmony, and verifi that are just a blood draw from your arm. If thos come back abnormal like mine, then you can opt for an amnio or chorionic villus sampling which i also opted for. All of those tests expose the gender
