Oh my gosh so my 5 month old is breast fed since birth, and now my peds told me to start giving him bottle once in awhile so he doesn't have a hard time when I need him too, and she told me to try the purple simalac. Well I've tried and he will not take it at all!!! I try different nipples and still nothing. Any suggestions??

maybe the supplement kind for moms who breast feed.

Girl if your baby is gaining weight and growing normally you don't HAVE to do any of that. You can go straight to solids at 6m if you so choose. Baby doesn't have to take a bottle. I work and am starting school in the fall and my baby will be 6m on the 4th, he just started baby food a few days ago only so he'll have something to eat when my grandmother watches him, and he's very healthy. About 23 lbs lol.

You don't have to give a bottle. If you do, give one with breast milk. My daughter is 6 months and has never had a bottle except once and she won't take it

I tried anyway an he doesn't like them whatsoever!! He bites it an yells.. Even when breast milk so I think I'll just feed until 6 mos lol
