Is there any ladies out there who had a low lying placenta and confirmed at 32 weeks, were you told…

Reason I'm asking is, I work in hospital with lots of doctors and chat a lot with them, we do Ivf lists in theatre and work with a lovely doctor who was telling me I should stop work if they say placenta is still low lying at 32 weeks. I plan to stop at 34 weeks anyway so two weeks earlier won't be too bad anyway. Just wondered if other people were told told to stop work st that point in that situation, my job is quite physical and on my feet a lot and long days too x

Oh so I went to hospital for bleeding on Monday & was chatting to one of the doctors about low laying placenta & cause of bleeding from etc. He asked if it was aggravated ie after sex. I said I was told strictly no sex and he said he would never tell anyone that at 20 week scan. And in his opinion it would be fine! Interesting but I think we are sticking with no sex anyway. He said I'm not telling you to go away and have lots of sex, bu I'm saying that if you did it's not the worst thing

@emmaelaine, I was told no sex by my midwife so we've just left it, rather be safe than sorry x

Yeah exactly why we haven't. She was very insistent that no sex was necessary @hawkie75

I got told I had a low lying placenta but don't think it was to badly low. she never said anything about no sex. now you girls got me worried cos we have it at least once or twice a day :( xx
