thats how it was with me.... and whoever is on call at the hospital will probably be the one to deliver your baby

I don't see the same person either its a different doctor each time lol but it's like the same ones but constantly taking turns or something for the first time Monday I had a male doctor 😳

to me it didnt matter cuz they never really do anything during labor anyways the nurses do everything i seen my doctor all but 5 mins maybe she came in to stitch me up and push out my placenta and that was it

that's why I have tricare standard . I wanted to choose my ob. I have a great ob . he delivered my brothers when they were born

so if I had tricare standard instead of prime I would be able to choose who delivered my baby?😩 @carlitojrmami

@sarahwilliams, yes you can choose the ob you want to go to . the thing is you have to pay co pays if you switch to standard but idk if you can still go on base if you have standard .

My midwives are the same way. It's so you at least meet and talk with all of them so a stranger isn't delivering your baby. I was uncomfortable with it at first too. I wanted my midwife to know me inside and out. But it's also a blessing to know ONE of them will deliver my baby. Not some stranger doctor or even a nurse! That happened to my mom 4 outta 6 times. So I'm happy I don't have to worry about that happening 😊

my doctors office does the same thing it is because the doctor that is on call for that office will be delivering your baby

Oh ok well I know usually when you have different people it's usually because they're students trying to complete their residencies. Or that specific hospital wants you to get acclimated to everyone so at least you'll know whoever is on call when you deliver your baby.
