for the moms that want to go back to work after you have your baby, how fast do you go back to work? how does that impact your newborn? not planning to leave my baby at a daycare. just my hubby to take care of her while I work a part time in the afternoon.. I'm getting so desperate to get back on our feet..

With my first I went back after 12 weeks and it was very hard but he adapted very well since my oldest sister was taking care of him.

This time around I'm no longer working!! I've been home since I found out we were expecting again!!

I get 6 weeks of paid maternity leave and I'm thinking about taking some extra time from my PTO. Probably a total of 8 weeks cause that's all I can afford :(

I went back after 2 weeks with both my daughter and my younger son. I only did because it was my mom and my husband with them so I was ok leaving them with them. it's totally up to you and your body. Some ppl take longer to recover from childbirth too. It took me the whole 6 weeks after my firstborn to even feel physically able to work again. :-\
