My son was like that too, I said no pacis, but at day 3, I needed a break, and bought pacifiers. my nipples were so raw, I just needed the hour in between feedings. He didnt want it right away, but after 3-4 times of continuing to put it in his mouth, he got the hint, and he cried only when he was hungry. Breastmilk is lighter so they will feed more often than a formula fed baby, but the paci helps if your are open to it :)
it takes them a while because they grow so fast. Give it another week or so and you guys hopefully will find a pattern and slow down . good luch, every baby is different.
