so last night as my daughter tried her first food, since she turned 6 months yesterday, my fiance decides to tell me his mother gave our daughter rice cereal when we were on vacation 2 weeks ago. I'm mad about it, but haven't made a big deal about it since I can't change it. but I specifically remember him telling me she would NEVER over step a boundary like that, he even told her that morning not to do it and she said "well you're not going to tell her" I know none of it was said with mean intentions, we have a very joking type of family. but I'm wondering, is it wrong for me to be mad that she gave my daughter solids without my permission before she was even ready for solid food??

@nicemmcha2015, @juliakoren I'm not so much mad AT her, but mad that it happened. she's an amazing woman, she paid to remodel our whole house before we moved in, and paid for our whole week long vacation in a beach side condo for 4th of July. she's an awesome woman, I'm just kind of annoyed that they did this behind my back. if she had asked I would have said one TINY bite was fine, as long as it didn't have any milk or butter or anything in it (she eats rice cereal for breakfast, so it was her food she shared with my daughter)

I would be mad... My mom has a bad habit of trying to do things like that, it drives me nuts!

she's your child. not hers. yes you have a right to be mad. she would never watch my kid Again. that's disrespectful to you considering you didn't want it done.
