my fiancee quit it job yesterday no warning. no planning. no back up job. can you say STRESSED? 😣

I'm stressed out enough just being the only provider of the family. My fiance thinks that we could get assistance from the county while I'm on maternity leave for 3 months. I would like him to get a job. So stressed and frustrated. I need 3 days off next week and the following week. I worry about money as it is.

Eek! Breathe, keep your positive flow going. Try not to stress (I understand how difficult that is right now). You could freak out and let the worry weigh you down but that really isn't going to accomplish anything. Jazz up his resume and get back out there. If your fiancé is super unhappy at his job it isn't right to keep it. I'm rooting for you girl!!!

@alexinwonderland, thanks! he filled out like 3 applications last night while I was at work. and he's looking for more right now. I picked up some more hours for next week but I can only pick up the slack for a little while being this pregnant. lol he said he plans in going to a temp place until he finds something permanently to at least bring in something. which I'm super glad that he doesn't plan in just sitting around on the computer doing nothing. I'd lose my mind dealing with that.

He sounds like a great dude and provider. It is better IMO to have a rough patch that will lead him into a happier place than a rough job that keeps him unhappy for the next twenty years. I'm very glad to hear things are working out well already 😊

@alexinwonderland, I think I'm the reason he quit actually. earlier this week he was super mean and grumpy with me. I ended up saying "if your going to be this mean because you hate your job then get a different one or stay away from me until you adjust your attitude!" lol I just didn't think he'd quit and not have another job lines up.

Oh wow! and 8 weeks or less before baby comes. so sorry you are stressed :'(

@michellevaldez4750, he applied for 4 more jobs today and is waiting to hear back from the temp place hopefully tomorrow. I'm trying to stay positive and not melt down. lol

That is good that he's motivated at least :) my husband was like that too before he started his own business. He was never unemployed for more than 2 weeks and he's a felon. I'm sure you guys will be alright :)

@michellevaldez4750, he says we will be. I worry. he doesn't have a GED and he's been in trouble (for weed). but I have a full time job and two part time jobs. as long as he finds something by the time Evelyn's born I'm sure well be okay

As long as he has a good personality that doesn't matter. like I said, my husband is a 3 time felon but he can charm anyone with a first impression. that's the main thing.

btw, the name Evelyn is so pretty :)
