What should I do if I lost my WIC checks?

let your WIC office know that they are lost so they can cancel them and give you new ones

Hopefully they give you new ones. My WIC here doesn't replenish new ones if I lost mine😔😔

they say that they can't give new checks. they pretty much say its a loss .

it depends on where you live. I never had a problem getting mine replaced but I live in Ohio

Alabama is crazy they won't give any . no formula nothing! they are cray here

that's crazy because Ohio doesn't have checks they have a ebt card which I lost and they replaced it and put my benefits on it

No Ohio WIC has its own card now specifically for WIC

Yeah I just recently switched over to the card. When I lost my checks they never replaced them until the next time I had to come back for new ones. @ohheyitsliza

can you buy anything with the card or do they still tell you exactly what to buy a month? as in the food and what about formula? do they still monitor what kind you buy? @valerie_jean @ohheyitsliza

It's the same thing you got with the checks. Formula/milk, protein (beans, peanut butter, whatever you chose for the category), eggs, $$ for fruits and veggies, cereal. And it has to be a specific brand, yes. Same thing as the checks but just put onto a card. @_jfelder_

interesting. I'm just asking because I have an appt with WIC next week to apply but I'm not sure if LA does the card now or not. thank you @valerie_jean
