Can I hear you guys induction and birth experience? Only first birth with an epidural..

i was induced and got the epidural. I personally had a great birth I was scared because i was a first time mommy and hearing everyone elses experience got me so scared; and to be honest it was not bad at all.

I had a natural birth.

@kaguirre, how long was the whole process both labor and delivery? I'm so scared knowing my luck imma have it the worse

i was in the hospital bed at 8am and had my baby at 9:09pm

(If your getting induced have a really big breakfast because you wont get to eat until the next day/morning.)

@kaguirre, ugh my fatass isn't gunna survive but I knew that u couldn't eat during which kinda makes sense. Also how long where u in the hospital before u were able to go home? Sorry for all the questions just wanna try to have an idea of what to expect

@hannahbbtt, I'm following this because I'm so scared omg. it's been 15 years since i gave birth. i barely remember anything... i was induced and got the epidural... my contractions were horrible tho ugh

@hannahbbtt, I know my water broke midnight.... and had my daughter at 5:10pm that next day

The Epidural is not bad at all , I just got one . I was Terrified , but you immediately don't feel pain

@hannahbbtt, these nurses better know what there doing omg lol I didn't want an epidural at first due to a needle going into spine plus with a catheter.. But if the pain really goes away im all for it.

@hannahbbtt, depends what's your situation ? I didn't have any induction just the C section because it was an emergency

@hannahbbtt, you can get epidural when you need it just ask bc the anesthesiologist might be busy and if you wait to long might not have time to get it.

@hlanc4, how long does it last? I don't want to get it to early but not be late to where I can't have it

There isn't a "to late" supposedly and it doesn't take the pressure below away when baby is coming out so you'd be fine. Just ask nurse to tell you if there is a to late or if they are busy
