I totalled it up and I'll be making about $1500/month before taxes and the small daycare fee gets taken. Then I'll have my cable/internet, electric, water/sewer/garbage, heating, phone bill, insurance payment, health insurance payment, etc taken out. I don't qualify for EBT with making that much a month but after bills and taxes and all that, I'll be left with about $150-$200, I'm hoping, that will have to go for basic necessities like toilet paper, detergent, toiletries, monthly items, food, gas, etc. Jeez. This idea of living on my own will be hard financially at the start, but it will be worth it to have a place to call home and mine and to have a place to raise my daughter. I'm nervous, but extremely excited. I turned in my loan application today, too, and will see if I qualify and, if I do, if I'll have to place a down payment or not being as I'm a first time home buyer.
