I'm sorry but I just need to vent ladies... I've had enough of this girl (the gf of my husband's close friend). We went on a beach vacation and it was all wonderful except that she was there, bringing all the gloom and doom. The thing is, this girl doesn't want kids. That's fine with me, I respect that. BUT she throws her anti-pregnancy shit in my face. That, I have zero respect for. She goes on and on about women with children have a shitty life after, no social value and just basically falls off the category of normal. She laughed when I said I wanted at least 2 kids, and then responded "I'd rather die". 😨

The hubby stood up for me of course (even her own bf told her off), but still, I felt really frustrated as I was at a disadvantage because they're all French and I couldn't really have a go at her myself using the exact corrosive words I would've employed in English. I did however, in French, tell her: "You should be thankful your mother didn't think like you, and decided to still get pregnant. Otherwise there wouldn't be a YOU now, would there." 😒

I just can't understand these kind of people... Fine, you don't want to be pregnant. Do as you please but don't judge me on my life choices because that's what it is exactly--MY LIFE, not yours. 😠 #rantOver
