I feel like giving up on play dates, all together. A lot of my 2 year old friends don't seem to like playing with her. They won't share their toys and they like pushing her around because she's small. She's so sweet though and shares her toys and when they don't share their toys she just follows them around and it makes me feel bad for her. I don't blame the children I just feel not to many parents feel how I feel about sharing and how important it is.

It's how kids that age are... I believe it's a phase but if it's not corrected will eventually become a problem

I totally understand, I've been there. Some parents don't set a very good example and don't try to make sharing a priority. 2 year olds don't really understand the concept but the parents should still make it something that's really important. Eventually the kids get it but repetition is key.

Yes like my little one is also an only child for now but she gets sharing. She always shares her things and it doesn't bother her if someone picks up her toys, food, or anything. Her friends on the other hand doesn't want her to touch nothing of theirs even if they don't play with it.
