I woke up and I said I'm 99.9% sure today will be the day. have been having contractions for like 2 weeks but were getting worse. Had appointment that morning for ultrasound to check fluid. Couldn't even see to check it because was contracting so much so the tech called the doctor in and she checked me and I was 4cm dilated and 100% effaced. Sent me upstairs and had my c section a few hours later:)

my doctor checked me on a Friday and I was 1 1/2 centimeters dilated and 50% effaced. That night I started having my bloody show and contractions got way worse. Went to hospital that Saturday and was almost 3 centimeters dilated and 75% effaced then had my 2nd baby shower that Sunday because my fiance's parents decided to have it 3 weeks before my due date a hour and half away from my hospital. I could barely cope at shower because of contractions. That Monday I had my leap day baby 3 weeks early. I'm just glad I didn't have her at the shower a hour and a half away lol. How far along are you?

@maddiesmommy022916, I'm exactly 38 weeks today. she checked me at 36 weeks and I was 2 cm. haven't been checked since. but I go to the doctor on Friday so I'm hoping she checks me

With my first is what a complete surprise... I went to the hospital because I thought my water broke but on the way home I started having more painful contractions and was in early labor for 19 hours until I FINALLY went into the hospital, I was only 3cm after 19 hours but this time around I feel like it's never going to happen ): I'm 39 weeks and already 4cm and 75% effaced.

Suprise. Doctors office called me & told me I've been having high blood pressure so they told me to come in and they checked it again 3 times and it was still high so I got induced that same day!
