My job won't let me take mine till I go into labor unless my dr says something else

that's crazy smh I haven't been at my job s year yet. my year will be august 11 I'm due the 18th.. and I'm wondering if they anticipating I make it to august 11 or what happens if I go in labor before august 11 @poohzbaby328

Every one keeps asking me when am I going to pop and I hope I can get off in like 5 weeks

@0816mommy, you have to meet the year before they start protection, if you go into labor before Aug 11, they won't protect the days you missed BEFORE Aug 11. Starting that day they'll protect you.

@0816mommy, if your job gives you guys paid time off or paid sick leave you might be able to use that and I would still have someone cover your shifts before the 11th just to be safe.

@0816mommy, your PTO & PSL doesn't come from FMLA. Your job provides that, so you might want to call HR & see what their requirements are for that or if they even offer it & if so see how much time you have. I know this would thing is confusingAF. Lol. It took me a minute to get it myself.
