Ladies I have a question... today I went and got on a different birth control called NuvaRing I had it before and loved it so I figured I'd try it again and if I don't like it I'll get mirena. I was wondering if I should put it in tonight or wait till I get my period again which is expected to be august 6th. She told me today that she would give me a "sample" to try and also gave me a prescription for the next 9 months. I'm so confused! Last time I had it I had to wait till I ended my period before putting it in now I'm not to sure! I completely forgot to ask her today!

When I was on it I put it in the day my period went off n left it in for 3 weeks n out for a week(period week)

@gina819, that's what they had me do before but since in already on birth control and just switching over I don't think it matters if I put it in today or not. I don't want to and then be wrog
