Mommies who have taken a baby on an airplane. any tips?
I did on virgin, and it's not that bad. Get an isle seat so it's easy to get up. Buy disenfecting wipes and wipe around yourself. Super dirty on airplane. They board mother and children first usually and the flight attendants are usually really nice and helpful.
@eskawho, oh perfect! No! Thank you for the posts! I need as much advice as you have lol it helps a lot
Yes with southwest you can board after business select or A boarding whatever it's called.
oh and you can take a diaper bag along with your carry on and purse...and it's not extra. sorry for all the posts I just keep thinking of stuff.
it was so nice gate checking our stroller...dropped it off while getting on the plane and got it when we got off. and they usually let people with small children on first to have time to get settled...at least with delta
@santistevanmommie, awesome!!! Thank you ladies so much!! I knew nothing about flying with a baby lol
Yes completely free. Just tell them at the gate desk you have stuff to check and they'll put some tags on it for you. And if she sleeps through landing it's okay to not nurse her. Caleigha slept until we landed at the gate.
@eskawho, awesome. I'll nurse her on take off and landing. @santistevanmommie okay yeah that sounds good!! They're free, right?
Oh yes! You can check your car seat and stroller at the gate! That was amazing!
also have your baby, if awake, drink or have a binky when taking off and landing...it will help the ears...my daughter slept during most the the flights on our trip
Naps. During the two flights my daughter slept most of them and that was amazing. I brought toys and snacks just in case.
@alekismyworld, awesome!! Thank you so much !!
