How do you get your baby to drink water??!!!!!

They get enough fluids from formula or breastmilk

Giving them straight water can actually be bad for them.

They don't need it but you can start giving 1-2 ounces of water at 6 months in a sippy cup. It's more just too get them use to the cup for the future, not because they need water

Depending on if you breastfeed or not, they get water from the formula you give them. And babies can internally drown if they are given too much water. @withlovechris

@withlovechris, they don't have to drink liters. I was told My son at 6m was only allowed 8oz of plain water a day. It can put them in the ER

I heard 1-2 oz but i don't force it either. My daughter likes cold water and will drink maybe .5 oz and is done and then I nurse her

Yeah that's what's she does, I don't think a little bit will bother them. And like I said. It's not like you are forcing them.
