my husband and I are on the same page you guys are. neither of my children have had them (only vitamin K at birth). the worst thing either of my children have had is my son had croup for 3 days, otherwise it's been little colds here and there..

absolutely not alone mama, it's a struggle for sure especially when people start saying "if you don't vaccinate you should be in jail" or "you are just asking for your children to get a deadly disease and die" (the second one was said to me by a cousins husband). the baby is your child, not anyone else's so you do what you feel is best. my grandma keeps telling me when certain illnesses come around (whooping cough etc) to try and scare me into doing it, but I dont

both my kids have there vaccines , every parent has the right to decide if they should get them or not☺

I absolutely agree with getting the necessary vaccinations, also being in the medical field I've seen a lot of unvaccinated children/adults with things like measles and even polio... But I think everyone should have a choice and it doesn't make someone a bad parent because of beliefs (: you're great parents for sticking to what you believe in! But like @lp1988727 said, a lot of schools won't allow unvaccinated children attend, especially California, you can't even fill out a waiver there anymore... There has to be a medical reason for not vaccinating

I have 5 none of them have been vaccinated 3 are enrolled in public school.. They have been around children who was sick and had chicken pox never caught it.. I also have 3 stepchildren 2 was vaccinated 1 not.. The that was, born just fine second round of shots they started noticing something different about them now both were diagnose with autism.. People that don't have vaccines are not bringing back anything medical professionals are taught to say that.. I wasn't vaccinated until I was 16 and I didn't get sick one time until after those damn shots... Your doing what's best

I get my daughter vaccinated. I'm an Emt and I've seen a lot of sadness with some babies lets just leave it at that. Of course, every parent has their own opinion. I've seen whooping cough bring great heartbreak to families that don't vaccinate. So, for my kid, I vaccinate. But if you choose not to, that's your choice and no one should make you feel like a bad parent for it.

I've heard you can get waivers for school or preschool if your children aren't vaccinated.

@mommycrazy5, I've noticed that kids who get vaccinated get sick after. I'm also homeschooling, so i have no worries there. 🙄
