So my baby is on Similac Advance Formula ever since she was born (I occasionally bf her too), she is my first baby to not have ANY formula problems. Unfortunately, WIC has a contract with Gerber so they no longer do Similac....I don't want to change her formula then end up creating digestive problems so that means I will have to purchase the Ready To Feed Similac. Financially it might be alittle much but I guess I have to do what I gotta do so everything stays problems free...now as far as WIC I'm thinking about donating those cans of formula that I get through the WIC or selling it at a lower cost for several cans which will help me pay for her Similac. What y'all think?

Not the one in my town, they were with Similac back when I had my first daughter 6 years ago then when I had my 2nd i found out they were with Gerber..wish I could get a doc note for it but even that won't help @octobermom14

@ariliyahzihmommy3, definitely go to her pediatrician so you don't have to pay. give you suggestions about a good formula for your little one

Her pediatrician even said pay outta pocket when I talked to get about it at my baby's week old appt @octobermom14

@ariliyahzihmommy3, oh dang that sucks how rude in a way dont you think. will give gerber a try or either just sell them like you said. formula is so expensive here where im from the powder can cost at least $16 or $17 per can

I don't think she came off meaning to be rude...she was agreeing more that if she's taking perfectly to this formula it's best not to change her and interrupt how she's digesting. She likes Similac over Gerber but unfortunately WIC can't accommodate. Similac Ready To Feed is $6.66 in the Wal-Mart that's a who or lot cheaper than the powder starting at $23. Either way it adds up but i just don't know...maybe I'll buy it for a month then try to transition her...idk. @octobermom14

Yes ik. It's crazy tho bc my child really doesnt want the formula, she always finds her way to my breasts of I lay her on my chesteven tho I haven't bf her since we got out the hospital. I let her have it last night bc she worked hard for her mommas milk and she just wouldn't stop being fussy without it @octobermom14

you can get in major trouble for selling. it's in the paperwork you sign when you sign up for it. just fyi. it is fraud.
