So right now in this time, we are preparing for a baby. 8 weeks more or less and she will be here.
I find irritation in a lot of things obviously, but right now my biggest thing spending money.
I buy things for the baby, and the most I buy for myself maybe once a month is makeup WHICH I WILL USE!!
My husband however will ask me if he can by something for himself, and I say yes, but then it's something totally stupid!!!!
Like he just decided he should by a $40 crystal ball for meditation......I doubt he will ever use that....last week he asked me to buy him a hand saw....FOR WHAT?! and then he tried asking me to by him an almost $70 robe, for cosplaying or for Renaissance fairs or something.... Like I don't get it.
I try not to get upset about stuff like this, I understand he wants to buy things he can enjoy for himself but I just feel like when I buy things, it's because it stuff I need for me or the baby.
Sorry to rant, just had to get it off my chest.
My husband can be a pain...but I love him.

I completely understand. All of the household income comes through me. I make sure all of the bills are paid and are needs are met. I barely buy things for myself because I believe in saving. My SO just wants to blow through money on the most unnecessary things like new speakers in a damn 2014 Lexus when there is nothing wrong with the ones we have now and sometimes I have to tell him no as if he's a child. He easily spends $50 a day on nothing. That adds up. Then he wants to pull the card about him working for his money. He and I both work and we have bills and a baby on the way. So cry all you want

Yasss girl. I handle our money, and I pay these bills. I try not to be so hard on him, I know that once in a while I wanna let him buy something for himself...just wish it wasn't on stupid shit. Lol
