They did they electrocautery on me when I had mine @heatherann219 I was over halfway through my pregnancy. It wasn't painful at all and the healing was fast.

I did too @heatherann219 but the doctor said there's no harm in doing it now! she put some kind of medication on it, all I know is it burns so bad

Definitely do! I was terrified! The numbed each wart with lidocaine an then she burned them off and they just flaked off throughout the week. She prescribed numbing gel but I didn't even need it. I didn't have any internal ones thankfully! I'm happy someone else is able to talk about this. I got called gross and a whole bunch of other things when I mentioned it on here. People don't realize how common it is!

@heatherann219 maybe she doesn't want to do it because they can come back while your pregnant from the hormones? My OB told me it was a possibility. She didn't want to risk the baby getting any when born though so if you are worried I would push the subject.

@mommytoabel, oh I'm asking for sure! And that is ridiculous that people were rude to you!!! I didn't get checked for internal yet I should do that too though. But it is seriously so common! You are absolutely not gross in any way for having them!
