I didn't go to my NST appointment today because I just felt crappy and didn't want to. Well...I was at my mom's house (she lives 0.7 miles from me lol) and my dad came home for lunch like he always does. He asked why I wasn't at my appointment, so I told him. He said, "I love you, but this is Dr. Dad talking," and goes on to tell me why I NEED to be there. My annoyed/hormonal response was, "I know Dad! I'm a pediatric nurse AND I work in a birth center!" His response, " I'm a DOCTOR AND YOUR DAD!" 😩😧
