So my doctor is leaving to chose if I want an induction and when or to go over my 40 weeks and have him come naturally. Im scared I dont want him to get any bigger, does an induction hurt? I'm a ftm and I have no idea about any of this.
Induction is more painful for some, because of the pitocin. And if your body isn't ready you are at an increased risk of getting a c-section. So do your research and ask your doctor what the risks and benefits will be and make an informed decision.
I was induced with my first daughter 8 years ago. It didn't suck too bad but it damn sure wasn't fun. But honestly natural labor ain't shits and giggles..So if it were up to me I'd be induced right damn now to have this baby lol. She is 6 lbs 12 ounces now and I have 4 weeks to go.
Induction does not hurt. It's just an IV inserted into you with medicines that will induce labor. It's no different than real labor except it may take longer...
@kaarrissab, she said since i'm starting to dilate she doesn't see any risks, since tomorrow is my due date its up to me. I just don't want go through more pain than I need to for labor.
