My brain disease . The doctors don't think my body will be able to physically push that hard without causing serious complications to my life . I'm hoping they let me try , then if I develop a headache during it then I can do emergency c -section, rather then starting out with a c-section.

my worry for you is knowing what you just said headaches come really easily during labor but I really hope you can go through it. but know when to stop so you don't hurt yourself

Just think about it as if you're choosing an all natural labor. That's what I'm doing! (Granted mine isn't from having a disease.) It's a choice. I yearn to feel the empowerment of having my son without any pain medications and accommodations. Turn this into a positive thing! Even if you have to tell yourself "epidurals are for sissy's" to get through it. Do what you need to to do. Motivate yourself how YOU need too. You can do this mama. 💙💖

Well I haven't talked to my brain dr about it yet just my ob . So I'm not sure what could happen , all I know is it could be fatal to me if I do it naturally . The pushing could cause something to go wrong in my brain . Which I'm sure that's the worse case an she is just getting it out there but still. I have absolutely no problem at all having to give birth with no meds , that's not an issue I've had multiple brain surgeries . I've had a miscarriage that was extremely bad , and I had a spinal tap go terribly wrong an had to get an emergency blood patch . So pain and what not isn't too big of a concern for me lol, I've gone through more than I'd like too. I was just going to get the epidural because hey they offer it , so mise well make my life a little easier lol. I also have nothing against c-sections it's just the fact that I would have to be completely knocked out :( and I don't want that . I want to be able to see my baby when she's born , do skin to skin breast feed all that . Yeah I'd be more curious what ur neurologists says .. If it's too risky u may not get the chance and worst case I just saw something on tv where they had to put a mother to sleep and they woke her up and she still got to hold her baby after recovery they held off and bath and feedings worst case they can always give the baby sugar water via tube ( worst case)
