Sounds like she was just being nice and making conversation! The ultrasound tech said something similar to us when we went in because my baby has long limbs and feet. I thought it was sweet that she was being friendly.

I had the same thing happen with the ultrasound tech because he kept kicking the monitor. she kept saying oh he will be a soccer player or football player due to how hard he was kicking & I was like what if he doesn't like those sports and rather run. but now that's his out he loves kicking his little soccer ball but who knows if he still will later on.

@rainbow0601, I can see where you're coming from, but she wasn't an ultrasound tech. she hasn't seen the baby at all. she just came in my room to see if I wanted water, then asked if my son was going to play sports. it didn't make sense to me

@luuuuuucyyy, aw that's cool that he likes it. but yeah, idk what he will and won't like and I definitely don't know what he wants to be when he grows up and me personally think it's weird to ask someone what their baby will be when they grow up because babies just chill all day lol...like, maybe ask a parent something like that if their toddler openly shows interest in something. if my son was 3 and loved playing with a basketball more than building blocks then I wouldn't have been offended you know? but I haven't even met him...so idk? it just didn't sit well with me

girl I get you lol I had the same thing when they my dad was saying he is going to be a soccer player & im like what if hates sports? lol Makes complete sense. Maybe should have asked what you plan on showing him as different things that can interest him!
