RANT: sorry in advance. I've been seeing a lot of moms on her condemning sleep training :/ I think that before 6m a baby just Isn't ready to be alone. But if kiddo isn't sleeping after 6m they are ready to learn to self soothe. Sleep training is taught by professionals. My 8m old was a terror at night. Happy but she wanted 2-3 bottles at night staying up from 1am to 4am some nights. I started sleep training and within 3 days she didn't need any bottles at night and had already figured out how to self soothe. And her demeanor was even better. And I get sleep now. It's not all about leaving your kid alone to cry. It's about teaching them to sleep on their own without help. As a mom it's my job to teach her how to sleep well. Maybe we should stop bashing all moms on how they teach/feed/ do anything with their own kiddos.
