Man the american soldier song use to make me hold my head up, because I was the only soldier in my family. Then I met my husband, and well got out. Now it brings tears to my eyes, because that song describes him to a T. I mean I was and still am dedicated to my country, but he I can't explain it. He doesn't have to wear the uniform, to protect his country. If that makes any sense. I mean he helped keep a 10 year old alive, long enough for the mother to say bye. He has stopped and helped people with car trouble, amd actually stood by the lady and her son until they got help. A lady got into an accident, amd he stood there until the cops arrived. I mean that is just with stranger, imagine how he is at home.

my husband is the exact same way! he is no longer in the service but always runs to danger. Being pregnant and in my emotions I often worry about him because I know if the situation arises he would lay his life down to save another. he stopped to help a truck that had caught on fire on the side of the highway and almost got taken out by a propane tank. and I recently took a photo of him stopping traffic to help a young lady get out of the road due to an accident. there are very few people in today's society like this! so tell your husband thank you for having a heart of gold!!
