I've never been able to get on board with the whole "I'm the one that's pregnant so my boyfriend should do everything for me and grant my every wish" thing....
James took over litterbox duty and all the heavy lifting and brings me food sometimes. But just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean he should become my slave or lose all rights to any decisions we make about the baby. Like when we were choosing a name and he and I disagreed everyone would say "well you're the one pushing the kid out so you should get to make the final decision", like, no. It doesn't work that way. If anything I owe HIM because he doesn't get to experience our daughters life before she's born. I feel like I'm the lucky one getting to feel her kicks and hiccups, and getting to give birth will be such a privilege.

YES GIRL! I SWEAR! Like, I'm pregnant. Not handicapped. People kill me with their comments "Damian should do this, or Damian should do that" like little things like give the puppies a bath. He works full time and still manages to do so much for me and around the house without me having to ask but so do I, I don't just let him do everything while I sit around but I know my limits. People kill me with that shit!

I posted on fbook once about how I was cleaning and scrubbing my whole house and people tried to hit me with the "where's James? why isn't he helping?", like, I'm the one with the nesting instincts kicking into overdrive, not him, and he has a physically demanding job he works full time. Men (the good ones...) really don't get enough credit.

I am saying!! It irritates me when I see females hollering that they're pregnant so they can't do anything. Omg. I have a couple friends like that and I'm just like STOOOOP BEFORE I THROAT PUNCH YOU! This is my first baby and I still do everything I did before around the house except for lift heavy shit and clean with certain stuff.

@babyeaston191 yassssss👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 and I can't speak for all women bc I know every pregnancy is different and this is only my first, but I'm wondering if all the "pregnant hormones make women psycho" thing is real or if everyone is just using it as an excuse to be wierd lol bc I have had my moments, but my boyfriend has even said I've not been any more crazy than I usually would have been once a month lol
