I wished I knew when to take maternity leave. My doctor said he expects her to be here in 2 weeks or less. But my due date isn't for another month. He said he doesn't expect me to make it to my due date. My job is an hour away from my hospital I sure don't want to go into labor here but I feel it's too early to take off work just yet because he could be wrong.

I work an hour away from the hospital where my baby will be delivered but I'm still waiting until im actually in labor to use my maternity leave. you should still have plenty of time to get to the hospital

yes, you will have plenty of time to get to hospital. with my last baby water broke at 11 am. I made it to hospital at 1245pm...baby was born at 330 pm

Okay that's a good relief. Thanks girls. I'm dilated 2cm and 50 perfect thinned. So she can come any day to any week lol. I feel like it would be a waste to take off now. @rkline03 @riahlala3

@mischell, lol I think it is funny that we are the same number of weeks at the same dilation and effacement and the same distance from the hospital.

I was 3 centimeters dilated for a little over 3 weeks I forgot the percentage but yep that Good u opening up early
