Yeah exactly. He's almost 6 months and I wasn't planning on doing anything other than milk anyway, but everyone including his pediatrician kept pushing me to try baby food or some sort of rice cereal. But he's probably pushing 23 lbs at 5 1/2 months old so he's very healthy, and not like he's lacking nutrients. But when I work he refuses bottles for my family and I'm going to be starting college in the next month, so I'm just trying to find something he liked so that he'll eat even if he refuses a bottle. @arivera64

A good trick is to have another family member offer it while you are out of the room as far away as you can be. If the baby smells you, they know the breast is near and they won't take anything else if they don't have to.

Try bananas that's what my pediatrician recommended first. They also have banana and fruits flavored rice cereal and oatmeal.

That and green beans are the only ones my Sofia likes & if he has a fragile tummy don't do banana (from experience) stopped up my Sofia & my peditritian said that's what bananas can do to

Yeah he's taken bottles ever since he was born when I had to work and up until this past month or two he has straight up refused them for my grandmother, both sisters, my dad, mom anyone. I never give him bottles, but eventually he'll take an ounce or two for someone but he hates them. And the bottles we use are his favorite, always have been. I feel like it's kind of coming about along with this new separation anxiety he seems to be getting, and so I guess this is just a phase. Yeah my pedi said the same as I never changed what we were doing, strictly breastfeeding. @arivera64 and @guaderrama_babies2 I did hear bananas can constipate them 😕 that's why I didn't get that kind of baby food, but I did get the oatmeal I think its banana and apple. We haven't tried it yet, but hopefully he'll do okay with that.
