Please do!! Oh man it's been such a wonderful experience with my daughter. I love everything about it. There are some cons but the pros totally outweigh the cons.

I always knew I wanted to breastfeed, but with my first I wasn't educated on it like I am now. My first son was only breastfed for maybe a week- he lost a lot of weight in the first few days, couldn't latch on, I had inverted nipples, and I didn't drink enough water, so when I got pregnant with my second I knew I wanted to breastfeed. My second son was born at 29 weeks. We couldn't even try to latch on until he hit 32-33 weeks gestational, but that kid latched on perfectly. In my medical paperwork the nurses said I would have a hard time breastfeeding because of his prematurity and his low birth weight but that made me even more determined to do it, and I just hit 8 months of actual at breast breastfeeding in the beginning of July. My first son was formula fed and let me tell you, it sucks having to wake up, make a bottle, wait until he was done eating, then get back up to wash bottles. Breastfeeding is so much easier. You just put baby to your chest and when they get a little older you can fall asleep with them (safely of course, if you chose to co sleep or even nurse them to sleep). I think if you decide on doing it, keep thinking positive thoughts, stay ultra hydrated, and eat 200-500 extra calories of healthy foods (almonds are good for supply, for example) and put baby to breast often. If you decide on not breastfeeding that's okay too. Let me know if you want to talk more about breastfeeding. =]

Do it! It's empowering knowing you can provide for your child all while not spending a dime on formula! I BF both of my kids and never bought any! You'll love the bond trust me. I can't lie and say it's not stressful at times and the first few weeks will be tuff but you can do it!! Don't be scared.
