is it safe to eat store bought hot dogs and bologna?? that's all I've been eating. I don't cook them…

I eat hot dogs, but I cook them first. Same with lunch meat.

You are advised to avoid non cooked meats because of the possibility of getting listeria. Which can be harmful to your baby. But there are women who eat uncooked lunch meat and their babies turn out fine so it's your call honestly.

You're probably fine the risk is with listeria? I think. That's why they want you to cook it. Ever had a fried bologna sandwich?? Try it out!! Hot dogs you can cook in the microwave or boil them. Listeria is actually kinda rare but you don't wanna take the chance of getting it cause it can be dangerous to your baby. That's why they tell you to heat up your foods cause it kills that bacteria. Start heating them up now, you'll be fine

if you had listeria you'd be sick. tie provably fine but cook em from now on just in case ;)

I only had a Bologna sandwich and cut up hot dogs with cheese and my mid wife blew up on me. I don't always have them.
