Someone asked if it was ok to have a glass of wine while pregnant and of course thw vultures came out and tried to drag her and make her feel terrible for even asking.
Here's my opinion: It's not ok...in the US. Women in Europe drink while pregnant, but in moderation. The problem in the US is that people don't understand the word moderation. Fetal Alcohol Syndrome wasn't discovered by the doctor of a mother who had a few glasses of wine while pregnant. it was discovered in women who suffer from alcoholism and drank in excess throughput their pregnancy. I didn't find out I was pregnant with my daughter until I was 24 weeks. I until I found out, I continued to live my life like a normal 23 year old. I drank wine, I smoked cigarettes, one time I even took a vicodin for a toothache. I preceeded to give birth to a perfectly healthy, 8lb 10oz baby, with a perfect apgar and no health issues. What about the women who don't know they're pregnant the whole 9 months and live there lives as they were and give birth to healthy babys? Exactly.
You can try to drag me now 😂😂😂 I'm gunna curse you the fuck out though. I hate bullies.

My doctor prescribed me vicodins while pregnant lol I don't think they're all that worried about it as long as you don't abuse it

My mom would drink heavy on weekends when she was pregnant with me. She didn't know she was pregnant with me until she was 7 months, I was born extremely healthy and normal sized. I never had any problems during school or anything. The only problem I have now is severe endometriosis and 9 times out of 10 that is carried down from generation to generation, not from alcohol.

@nevergivingupgivens, Things like that definitely happen. I was 23 year old, bartender, college student when I found out that not only was I pregnant I was 6 months pregnant. For those first 24 weeks I lived my life as exactly what I was. I stopped everything when I found out, but it was late when I found out.

I used to smoke a lot of weed until I found out .. I did experience pain when I drank though but baby is fine thank god

My mom was a rebellious teenager who went out and did anything and everything that everyone told her not to do. My mother did a ton of crap while pregnant with me. These mom's on her get so uptight and rude about things. I did everything right, I did everything my doctor told me to do and I never drank a sip of alcohol and didn't put a cigarette back in my mouth and I still miscarried TWICE. Things happen. every pregnancy is different. My mom straight up did everything she wanted, I took extra precautions and she had me and I lost 2 babies.
