I was told my placenta is low and could possibly cover my cervix when it's time for birth so I may have to get a c-section. I'm supposed get checked again at 32 weeks. That disappoints me a lil, but idc as long as she is healthy. Any body else experience this before?

A girl in my birthing class had that and she regularly got checked, but it ended up moving up and out of the way because your uterus in the 3rd trimester does most of its stretching/growing taking the placenta with it, migrating it upwards. So there is hope!

Mine was low too at my 20 week ultrasound. I have another ultrasound coming up in two weeks to check on it. But the docs say most of the time they end up moving up.

mines was low and my doctor told me don't have sex or nothing cause u could start bleeding and lose the baby. but by the grace of God it moved up so I hope yours move up to just give it time @desi720

I have a ultrasound in two weeks to see if my placenta has moved up. If not, I'll likely have to get a c section. I've been on pelvic rest for the past 10 weeks or so.

Its posterior it started of low but it has grown apart from my cervix the bigger my uterus gets so it's no longer covering it.
