My daughters sleep schedule has been off for a couple weeks. And I'm not helping the situation because I'm just as tired, being pregnant and chasing her around when we are awake. Well I guess she went to sleep at 3pm, and i was going to make it a nap and I woke her up about 6 and she screamed/cried for an hour. She was so tired. Especially since last night and this morning...Friday, she didn't get much sleep because I had an early appt and had to take her with me. My mom thinks there's something wrong with her and freaked out on me saying she needs to see a doctor and needs to be put on medicine. If you've read my rant before-about her not talking. My mom thinks she's autistic. I'm so upset. Like, why is my child being tired a symptom to something that is wrong? She had a sleep regression at 18 mo and I haven't gotten in back on track yet because I'm tired also. I can't just go outside because the heat makes me nauseated. I just want to cry.

@mommytobe0703, this is the only time she's ever screamed that way because we woke her up. And there's even a saying, "never wake a sleeping baby!" I know my child isn't autistic. She's really smart. She listens to what I say, makes eye contact and even plays with other kids. She just doesn't talk and this sleep regression has gone on longer than it should. She even knew I was pregnant before I officially told her.

I'm sure she's only doing it out of concern. But believe me I know EXACTLY how you feel. My mom mentioned the same thing to me and I brushed it off but the thought that she had mentioned always crossed my mind. I had him tested and he is indeed autistic (high functioning) and adhd. My son hit all his developmental milestones but took forever to talk which is apparently a red flag. I just figured because he did everything else so quick developmentally talking would take time. I didn't think my son was autistic either. He was humming his abc's at 6 months, making eye contact, and social. I'm not trying to be rude or upset you and I hope you don't take my comment the wrong way. Just to be on the safe side have her tested so if she is autistic she can get the help she deserves. They're different types and different symptoms. Had I not my son would be struggling and lost and the earlier it is caught the more treatment they get the more high functioning they will be. Don't take it offensively, I did but my mom was right and I'm glad that she mentioned it to me. 😘😘 @imhermomduh

@leonandmarleighsmommy__, no need to apologize. I don't take most things offensively. The only reason it's offensive coming from my mom is the tone she uses. I didn't talk till I was 5 and she's comparing my child to my older sister who was talking complete sentences at 18mos. Maybe if my mom didn't also talk shit about my daughters father as if his genes are horrible. When if there is something wrong it's my fault. I have a thyroid autoimmune disease that affects development in the womb if not treated properly. So I feel guilty if there is something wrong and I just wish she understood that if she came at me differently I wouldn't act the way I do. And since I'm pregnant and don't want stress I just grab my daughter and walk away. Like your comment from a mother who knows what I'm talking about and had your son tested it is appreciated. And now I'm not so mad / upset or even opposed to get her tested. It's just so upsetting to me because I know it's my fault if anything.

Oh nooo!!! That sucks that she speaks negatively of her father and the comments she made about your thyroid issue. I definitely understand about you being pregnant and not wanting to stress at all. I worry about whether or not my daughter will be autistic and if my son will feel left out once she's born. Please don't don't blame yourself! If ever you need a listening ear I'm here. 😊😘@imhermomduh
