I'm so sorry for your loss! My dog passed away unexpectedly lying next to me from an aortic aneurysm. It was 18 weeks ago when I was 20 weeks pregnant and I was so traumatized by it, plus with the pregnancy hormones, I bawled my eyes out for a week straight. I couldn't get over it.

Thank you. I feel like a piece of me is gone. I even called her baby sister as a nickname. I'm quite sure I'll feel the same way. I held her lifeless body bawling.... My mom's house will never be the same... 😕

Yeah I bet, when my dog passed I spent a few nights away from my home because I couldn't handle being there and her not being around. My house felt so empty and quiet.

when my dog died as a child my grammy told me that it was because a child went to heaven and God never sends children to heaven without a friend to care for them. so I never felt like my dog died, more like she moved away to take care of someone who needed her love more. so sorry for your loss. pets are so special.

Yes I've been there.... It's very hard and although time helps heal there is really nothing else to ease the pain of this loss. ❤️❤️❤️
