pretty sure since you're using all the room in that pad that you won't have enough for the bleeding and will probably bleed everywhere

@michelle2220, it's just a small amount of aloe smeared all throughout the pad....the pads can take a lot more than that..

it was a live saver & if u have a good nurse ask for some the hospital give u to take home I only used them the 1st day with my boy but uk everyone is different lol

They're just always maxi pads and they're friggen enormous!! They're in purple packaging @missjess...@sexii_diiva they are supposed to help soothe the itching and burning from stitches after vaginal birth..@michelle2220 I don't think so I've heard a lot of women say it works wonders

I heard bad things about using the lavender it can cause irritation that's why I'm sticking with just the aloe and witch hazel. But I've heard great things about these, they come in handy after birth. And I read dermoplast is a essential for women who just gave birth

@missjess, @michelle2220 definitely will pick up some of the spray then! I hope the lavender isn't irritating I've used it on my skin before and it was okay so fingers crossed!

I made a whole pack (48 count I think) and didn't use any of them. I didn't get dermoplast either (the spray some hospitals give you)

to be honest when I was at the hospital I used their pads (just regular size pad) and I didn't bleed that much and to be 150% honest I didn't hurt after having her only when I overworked myself so I just used regular pads and then the water squirt bottle thingy they give you to clean yourself since you can't wipe completely

that's why I was saying about getting an infection. hopefully you'll be fine. I'm just gonna stick with the stuff the hospital has and make sure to ask them for extra when you get discharged

I loved them!! the only thing I didn't like was how fast they melted but they helped!!
