@mrsmccormick, exactly, she tells me she cries a lot for attention cause she'll cry than stop an look around an cry again til she's held. Like I don't give a fuck. It's my child respect the way I want to raise her if I wanna coddle her an spoil her than that's my choice. But I hate that she can't respect the fact I told her I don't like her to cry it out I just don't like that method. I'm so ready to tell her she can't watch her unless she can respect what I do an do the same if she's watching her.

Honestly she probably will stay stuck in her own set of ways, older women usually do. I firmly believe you just cant spoil a newborn. Its impossible . She was just attached to you for 9/10 months, of course she wants to be held and cuddled!

@coral1, yeah. I do the same. Sometimes if I'm busy she cries a lil more but I always pick her up. I feel so bad letting her cry. It's just not what I believe in like maybe when she's 6months-1year old I'll let her cry it when she's about to sleep but even than I'll probably hold her til she sleeps an not just let her bawl for no reason

A one month old baby doesn't cry for no reason, their brains aren't capable of that "manipulation" at such a young age. All the cry it out method does for such a young baby is send the message that they're being ignored and that makes me so sad! My mom thinks the cry it out method is works best but it doesn't

I did the cry it out method when she was around 6 months old to get her to sleep in her own crib , I hate that method but it worked now I cuddle my daughter every chance I get soon she will be on school not caring about what mom does
