when do most women stop working before they have thier babies?

Depends on the level of activity and how long you have to be in your feet. My good friend had a desk job and stayed all the way til she went into labor. I was a restaurant manager and on my feet the entire time and had to be able to carry heavy trays so I stopped about 34 weeks.
