Some ppl carry it (pertussis) it's a cough/ cold that can last 10 weeks and it can cause baby breathing issues when in contact with someone who has it. They have tests ppl can take and a vaccine you can take when your pregnant. Only reason I know about it is because my stepbrothers wife made everyone get tested before visiting my nephew.

My hospital told me it can make baby deathly sick so my entire family went ahead and got the vaccine

nothing definitive on it causing still birth but it is highly contagious and like anything in pregnancy what happens to mom's body can affect baby in the womb
