it's really simple! they give you a packet that tells you specific stuff you can get and when you get to the register yiu just give them your checks. say you have milk, eggs and cheese on one check. you'll hand them that check and the milk eggs and cheese. then they'll have you sign the check. then say your next check has cereal and peanut butter, you'll hand them that check and the cereal and peanut butter then they'll have you sign that one. it's a little time consuming but once you get the hang of it, it gets easier! they'll also give you a produce check for like $14 or something like that. if you go over that, you can pay the difference.
@dabcw3814, I reccommend if you have a tops around you wait till they have their buy 2 get 3 free offer to use your fruit and vegetable checks! you get so much more that way since fruits and veggies can be so expensive🤗
@dabcw3814, also if you won't use something on the checks like all the milk most places will change your checks so you can recieve yogurt and or cheese

yes they break them up and the cashier does all that for you.
