woke up at 5 this morning and peed. And after had pain in my urethra, I thought maybe a uti was the cause. I couldn't go back to sleep because of the pain. so I took a few Tylenol and took my antibiotic for utis. Just now I peed and saw a kidney stone the size of a small pea. For a stone that is quite large and am shocked that I didn't have more intense pain. I'm glad it wasn't worse and that it passed so quickly.

yes! I think it really put some strain on my urethra cuz it still kinda aches.

I passed 4 kidney stones during my pregnancy with my son and have passed nearly 30 in my lifetime! those lil things hurt like no other

they do! if you look closely at them, they are spiky so they scrape all the way down. when I have passed mine, I ache for 1 to 3 days after.

this one wasn't spikey, but bumpy and smooth which makes me think it's been there for awhile that and the size of it.@mamamj,
and I have had surgeries to remove them at 18 and again at 22. mine just don't pass usually @ginnalynn
