I am 15 weeks and still have not met my Doctor yet? Only the Nurse Practitioner comes in to check the heart beat and that's it. Is that normal? When should I meet him?

My last pregnancy I always saw my doctor everytime.

Yeah I think it's just odd that the doctor is "too busy" to at least come in and say hi to his paitient. But whatever the Nurse Practitioner is nice enough lol

It just depends, I only met OB twice. I had planned for the nurse midwife/ NP to deliver my son. If that is not your plan, you may want to ask. If you are low risk they may have assigned you to a midwife 😉

Erm .. Not that I know off.. For me nurse came to check my blood pressure, weight etc but right after I always saw my doctor who checked heartbeat and that.
