Nope, it feels like a lot of pressure when they put it in, but that was about it for me. I did cramp for a day or so after it was inserted. I'm planning on having another one put in once my son is born.

don't get anything implanted in ur arm or uterus. bc it can move and get lodged inside then they have to surgical remove it
