Anyone thinking of breast feeding?

me! I really want to but if I can't or baby doesn't like it I'm not going to beat myself up or feel like a failure just gotta try :) xx

@chelsea_aichaa, I've been told to feed on demand it could be like every 2 hours which I'm dreading but I think it's the experience I'm looking for tbh if they are still hungry I no my friend gives her baby formula as well as breast milk coz it doesn't fill him enough lol whether the health visitor will approve or not is another thing haha he's happy healthy and putting weight on nicely :) just gotta go with it I suppose see if baby is putting weight on or not xx

@summertimebaby16, one of my best mates breast fed both and she said she never fed on demand people have so many different ways xxxx

I am did with my first too, I went with the attitude that I'll try if I can't I won't but fortunately for me it was fairly easy hopefully same with this one. Don't put pressure on yourself give it a go if u can't don't beat yourself up do what's best for you and baby xx

well I admire you wanting to give it a go good luck hun just make sure u are ok it's worse for baby to have an anxious mum xx

I'm breastfeeding my 9 week old little girl, personally i feel its easier just to whip my boob out and get on with it than sterilise bottles and make up the formula and so on. I love the bond it gives us too, I just love that my body had provided for her for 9 months and it carries on providing for her through breastmilk :) i feed on demand, and honestly its not that bad haha xxx

I this will be my 1st baby so I'm just going off what my friends have done and what my midwife says. I no a girl at work her little boy fed every 2 hours during the day even on bottled formula but slept through the night (11 til 6) so I can cope with that lol xxx

ive managed a month with my son. im a bit dissapointed tbf but i couldnt keep up with him feeding every 45 mins during the day and every hour and a half at nite. dont think he could have kept it up either as neither of us were getting enough sleep so hes now on formula and is much more settled and sleeping better. oh well i gave it my best shot and am doing what best for us both @chelsea_aichaa x
