Boyfriend asked me if he could talk to me about something last night. It was his drinking. He has a plan set in his mind to try to tone it down and I couldn't be more proud of him. He is 24 with an extremely stressful job and has been abusing alcohol since he was 17 and has the desire to change it. He is going to drink twelve a night this week and then next week only allow himself ten and keep taking two away every week until he is down to six. I know it's still a lot but it is huge that he is doing this and doing in cold turkey wouldn't be healthy for him anyway. Could cause seizures. This little girl doesn't even know how she is saving her daddies life.
