So my doctor had a talking to me today because in one month I gained 11 lbs making my total weight gain 16 lbs. I have no idea what I am doing to put on the weight like that so fast but it happened. Doc said hopefully this is just a growth spurt and we won't have to worry about anymore crazy weight gain. What is y'all opinion on this?

After 6 months I started gaining 5 pounds every doc appointment and it eventually stopped. I've only gained 28 lbs total and haven't gained 1 pound in like 3 weeks. Everyone's different, but you're prolly just having a growth spurt ☺️ @marissarose94

I started gaining weight rapidly after six months too.. It's not really that stressful and you shouldn't worry about it.

Your doctor seems like he or she is being extra! By 25 weeks I gained 30lbs. I gained 50lbs my whole pregnancy and now almost 3 months pp I'm 161 almost to my pre pregnancy weight. Some women just carry big or carry a lot of water weight.

I gained a lot of weight with both pregnancies. Like A LOT. 100 lbs with my first and 60 with my second. Both perfectly healthy pregnancies. The weight came off with about a year of my first, we shall see with my second. Pregnancy just makes me really big.
